Mandjar Markets are Mandurah's premier waterfront market, located under the shady trees on the lush green grass along the Northern section of the Eastern Foreshore, Mandurah Terrace, Mandurah. We are a well-known established handmade market, with award winning Arts & Crafts artisans, gourmet goodies, children's activities, and live entertainment. Our trading times are 9.00am - 3.00pm each Sunday weekly from the 3rd October 2021 to the 22nd May 2022 excluding the City of Mandurah’s special event dates (Please note: check our Facebook page for confirmation of our trading dates Please read the information below for Food Stall Holder Applications:
Due to City of Mandurah imposed restrictions for the 2021 – 2022 market season the following are not permitted to be sold at Mandjar Markets

Important COVID-19 Information
To comply with the Environmental Health Directorate latest directives, all stallholders at Mandjar Markets, must be COVID-19 double vaccinated to attend and trade. Therefore, we are required by law to obtain proof of vaccination from our current and future stallholders. We understand that there are few who choose not to be vaccinated. Your rights are valued. However, we are unable to approve or permit you to be a stallholder at Mandjar Markets, Please do not apply to become a stallholder if you cannot provide proof of vaccination record or a valid medical exemption. For information about how to obtain your proof of vaccination from the Australian Government, see the Getting proof of vaccinations page. Exemptions on medical grounds must be obtained from the Australian Immunisation Register, using their IM011 form (external link) which can be completed by an employee’s GP or certain specialist medical practitioners.
Stall holder site locations are at the discretion of Mandjar Markets committee and will be planned with social distancing restrictions in place.
All Stallholders will be required to supply and have hand sanitizer available and displayed in a prominent position for the public to use. Mandjar Markets will not be supplying hand sanitizer to stallholders, it is your responsibility to ensure you have this available on the day or you will not be permitted to trade.
Stallholders are encouraged to use a contactless payment system for their sales to minimize contact in handling currency.
A cleaning regime in place for items that are handled by their customers and not purchased.
Adjust their displays within their stalls layouts to take into consideration of social distancing guidelines

Item Criteria Food/Beverage Applications: Examples of Food product/s to be sold include; Honey and honey products, jams and preserves, marinades and chutneys, specialty teas , coffee beans blends, nuts, dried fruit, olives, oils and vinegar, confectionery including nougat, fudge and the like, specialty baked goods including cakes, breads, and biscuits, muesli, hand-made dried pasta and sauces, health goods, fresh produce, home-made dog treats and specialty seasonings. In order to be eligible for a food stall at the Market and in keeping with the requirement for a ‘Makers’ Market’ offering handmade goods, the food product on offer must adhere to the following: Priority is given to locally produced food but producers from outside the Peel Region will also be considered to trade at the Market
Sharing of stalls is strictly not permitted except for immediate family members
All food products must be grown or baked or made by and sold by the applicant.
Copying of other people's work is not permitted. Copying the ideas and work of other stallholders may be in breach of creative copyright and is not in the spirit of the Markets
After approval if you have any new products/items you would like to sell you must submit a request for additional items to be approved prior to them appearing on your stall. These must also be prior approved by your local Council where you have your food business registered.
Products that are clearly imported or purchased from a wholesaler, repackaged to on-sell, or are deemed inappropriate (e.g.: discriminatory or offensive by the Mandjar Markets Committee) will not be considered. We do not accept commercial, design only products that are not made by the applicant or second-hand goods.
It is compulsory that all Food/Beverage Applicants have in place their own coverage of Public & Product Liability Insurance to the value of $10 million and a copy of the Certificate of Currency is submitted with the application form.
All City of Mandurah Health Department requirements and food registration permits/documents must be submitted and approved by the City of Mandurah and Mandjar Markets Association Inc prior to commencement of trade. Your stall must comply with the minimum standard for a Temporary Food Stall as required by the City of Mandurah.
It is compulsory that all Food/Beverage Applicants have completed a food safety/handling course and attach the completed certificate with their application form. A Free Food handling course is available online for City of Mandurah residents. Also, several other local councils also offer this free course. Please contact your local Health Dept for further information and availability
Selection of Applicants is Based on the Following Criteria:
Quality and appeal of the product, the mix of the market and the number of food/beverage sites which become available. The Mandjar Market Committee must have due regard for the mix of the market and fair trading with established businesses located nearby when selection is made to maintain a balance of food represented at the market
Wait List: A wait list may be formed for applicants whose products are currently over-represented at the market.
Site Fees: $60.00 3m x 3m per Trading Day No Powered Sites are available. Generators are strictly not permitted without approval in writing from the Mandjar Markets Committee.
Marquees/ Tables/Equipment:
Mandjar Markets does not offer marquees, tables, or chairs.
All equipment is to be provided by the stall holder.
Marquees must be one-piece, heavy duty and collapsible with removable roof covers.
Put together pole/rod tents will not be permitted to be erected.
Market umbrellas are not acceptable.
All equipment is to be stable, in good condition and able to withstand wind gusts.
Clear panels in backs and sides are highly recommended.
Safety must be of paramount consideration.
All tents/marquees must be weighted down to withstand wind gusts.
All ropes are to be flagged for visual safety reasons
All other anchors are to be sited within the allocated 3m x 3m site.
All tents/marquees are to be adequately secured by approved anchors (guy ropes) & weights/ mid length (not the tiny silver ones) ground pegs. Please note “Star Pickets” are NOT to be used as ground pegs
All items on sale must always be secured against becoming airborne.
Application Process:
A link to an online application form will be provided once we have received your Expression of Interest. Please do not share the link as only online application forms with a matching EOI will be processed
Applicants will be notified by email if they have submitted incomplete applications. They will be given two (2) days to submit the further information required. If information is not received within two days no further correspondence will be entered into and the application process will cease.
Outcome of application
Mandjar Markets will notify applicants by email of the outcome or progress of their application within 14 (fourteen) days upon receiving a completed application.
No further correspondence will be entered into with unsuccessful applicants from this point forward. Acceptance and non-acceptance are at the discretion of the Mandjar Market Committee. The Mandjar Markets Committee reserves the right to reject applications and not to enter into any correspondence about the decision. All decisions made by the committee are final.
Once approved, you can attend as many times a month as you wish but the minimum is once a month. After 4 weeks of non- attendance, you will have to reapply again for approval and the likelihood of being placed on a waitlist could occur.
Please note Mandjar Markets do not operate/trade whilst the City of Mandurah Crab Fest Event or any other City of Mandurah event is being held
